Jacob’s Ladder (Polemonium reptans) Prism Giveaway!
Hey folks, I’ve decided to do another small giveaway for another slightly flawed prism, this time a Jacob’s Ladder (Polemonium reptans), whose only flaw is that it’s leaned a bit off-center in the resin.
This prism is a completely handmade desk light, containing the floral sprig embedded in a 4″ long obelisk of crystal clear glass resin, along with an LED light that can be switched on and off via a twisting switch on the bottom, and mounted on a 3D printed wood base (a mesh between poplar wood pulp and a plant-based polymer). The result is a prism-like refracting effect as the light filters out through the angled resin and through the specimen itself.
To enter:
- Reblog this post to enter (likes and nice replies are always appreciated but don’t count towards entry
- Tag your post as “entry” (please use the tag function or your entry cannot be counted. Putting #entry in the responses or replies won’t count. I pull names through the tag viewer to filter out bots and those that didn’t read the rules so only tags count)
- Multiple reblogs count but excessive, spammed entries or obvious entries to a giveaway blog will be discounted
- Winner must be 18+ or have explicit permission from an adult for entry, and also have messages open.
- International entries are okay but please be prepared for a much longer wait time on your prize and/or possible VAT fees, if applicable in your country
I’ll be drawing a name Thursday, June 28th at around 9pm EST
If you’d like to buy a prism for yourself, I have more available here!
